The Instant ZIP Manager plugin allows you to compress or unpack files (all files/folders marked in the Explorer) super fast with just one keystroke. The compressed zip archive (which is immediately placed in the clipboard) can be inserted directly into an Outlook e-mail, for example.

The experimental Folder Explode option extracts all files from a folder and simply explodes it. The process output can be monitored transparently in the console window, which can optionally be shown or hidden.
