Hazel EXIF sorts all files (photos, music, documents, etc.) into new folders based on file date and format.

Based on the META/EXIF file information, new date folders are created and the appropriate files sorted into them.

Especially if you only have thousands of photos in one folder after data recovery, Hazel can analyze and re-sort them.

Supported Dates

• Creation DateTime
• Last Write/Modify DateTime
• Last Access DateTime

To determine the appropriate date, it is advisable to right-click on a file: there you can see all 3 date values.

Deep Sort

The depth of the date sorting is easily controlled by the date syntax, and can be customized. The more precise the date pattern, the more filigree the sorting.

Extension Prefix

Optionally, the files can be sorted in advance by file extension using the format prefix, for example to separate JPG from PDF.

Black and White

Using the Black / White -List option, either an included or excluded list of file formats can be defined to either include or exclude them in the sorting process.

Test-Run

The test-run mode (20 files) provides a quick insight into the result before starting the actual process with the final parameters.
